If you do not wish to be bound by these Terms and Conditions, You may not access or use this Service. Inconsistent with these Terms and Conditions may terminate your access, block your future access and/or seek such additional relief as the circumstances of your misuse. You agree to review the Terms and Conditions periodically to be aware of such modifications and your continued access or use of the Service shall be deemed your conclusive acceptance of the modified Terms and Conditions.
All content included on webcity.lk, such as graphics, logos, images and software is the exclusive property of webcity.lk, is protected.
Users & Registration
Users represent and warrant that they are 18 years of age or older in order to enter into this Agreement and make any purchase of items provided by us. If you are under the age of 18, you may use webcity.lk only with involvement of a parent or guardian.
Upon registration the user is solely responsible for the User name on webcity.lk and all the actions made on our site while logged in (at all times) as a member. webcity.lk recognizes any login and activity within the site, using the user name and the login credentials as a valid activity by the registered user. The user is completely responsible for the account being accessed and use of our purchase of products on offer. Maintaining the security and confidentiality of the login credentials is the total responsibility of the user.
Accurate Information & Your Account
The user is responsible for providing accurate information at the time of registration. Users are responsible for ensuring that details are updated and current. Webcity.lk reserves the right to terminate user membership at any time if breach of these terms and conditions take place. In the event that a user does not provide correct and accurate information, the transaction will not be processed.
If you use this site, you are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and password and for restricting access to your computer. Furthermore, you are responsible for any and all activities that occur under your account or password. You authorize webcity.lk to assume that any person using the site with your password and user name either is you or is authorized to act for you. You agree to notify webcity.lk immediately of any unauthorized use of your account or any other breach of security. Webcity.lk will not be liable for any loss that you may incur as a result of someone else using your password or account either with or without your knowledge. However, you could be held liable for losses incurred by webcity.lk or another party due to someone else using your account or password.
Confirming Order
You will have an opportunity to check and correct any input errors in your order up until the point at which you submit your order by clicking the ‘Place Order’ button on the ‘Order Summary’ page.
After placing an order, you will receive an e-mail from us acknowledging that we have received your order and giving an order number and a summary of your order. Please note that this does not mean that your order has been accepted. Your order constitutes an offer to us to buy a Product. All orders are subject to acceptance by us, and we will confirm such acceptance to you by sending you an e-mail that confirms that the Product is available and will be dispatched. A separate Dispatch Confirmation will be issued when the product is handed over to the delivery agent, along with the way bill number. We will deliver the Products to you in accordance with the delivery option specified by you when you place your order.
The contract between us will only when you receive the order confirmation mail from the site. We may be unable to process your order if:
(a) The Product you ordered is out of stock or discontinued; or
(b) There is a problem with authorization of the payment on your debit or credit card.
Cancellation Policy
A cancellation of an order can be done only by contacting under the order in your user account or you can give call us “071 400 8881 or 074 366 6681” informing that you want to cancel the order. Cancellations are accepted only prior to dispatch of orders.
The amount paid will be refunded based on the original method of payment chosen by the customer.
Goods Return Policy & Product Out of Stock
Goods purchased cannot be returned unless having a fault or damage upon delivery. After you reveal the damages, you can inform us and handover to delivery agents on that time. After the delivery, we may not accept complains. Please contact us through [email protected] or 071 400 8881. Then we can do the re – delivery the products in good condition.
- If the product is not in good working condition, you can inform us within 2 working days after received the product. We will make arrangements to return the product to us, in order for our team to evaluate and process the replacement or a refund. In the event of a replacement, webcity.lk customer care team will coordinate with relevant suppliers for replacement of faulty products. The product must be returned in the original and undamaged manufacturer packaging box. This includes but not limited to, original tags, warranty cards, accessories any free items. If a product is returned to us in an inadequate condition, webcity.lk reserves the right to send it back to you.
Some products may become unavailable or become out of stocks from time to time due to the conditions of overselling by the suppliers. However the products may show online as available for purchase on webcity.lk, if the supplier has not promptly informed us of the fact that the product is unavailable for them to supply us. In such circumstances webcity.lk does not accept any liability whatsoever for the fulfillment of your orders.
- In the event of a stock unavailability, webcity.lk will inform the customer within 3 working days, and the payment can be refunded as per the “Refund and Returns Policy” guide lines.
- Customer acknowledges and agrees that the only remedy available for unavailability of product is the refund of the money paid.
Refunds Policy
Products that require refunds are to be directly negotiated with the vendor concerned. If you cancel your order, or return a product due to a manufacturing defect any sum debited by us to your credit/debit card will be refunded in full. We will notify you of your refund via e-mail within a reasonable period of time. We will usually refund any money received from you using the same method originally used by you to pay for your purchase. We will usually process the refund due to you as soon as possible and, in any case, within 07 days of you cancelling your order.
Please note that in any instant if one of the ordered products is unavailable in the market or unable to be obtained or supplied, webcity.lk has the right to arrange a refund for the amount of the unavailable items. In the meantime, this process will be communicated to the customer. Refund processing time could fluctuate based on the selected payment method of the order. The refund amount is an equivalent value to the unavailable products value.
Delivery
Delivery is 3 working days excluding weekends, bank/public/mercantile holidays and any other special holidays declared by the government. Due to prevailing situation in the country, orders to lock down areas may get delayed.
Warranty Policy
If a warranty is offered on a product, the warranty period will be displayed on the product description & the invoice.
You have to keep the warranty card in safe, if available. Without the warranty card, you are unable to claim the warranty.
If the product is not working condition within the warranty period, please contact us 071 400 8881 or [email protected] for the repairs. We will arrange the best services to you.
Violations against warranty, including but not limited to customer induced damage, such as self-repairs, broken display, bending, scratch, dent, burn, soaked or liquid damage, root or manual update, failure to comply with product manual, misuse, third party repair, original serial number is removed, lightning, abnormal voltage, any natural disasters, external housing, cosmetic parts and so on.
Comments & Postings
Webcity.lk reserves the right to monitor and block or remove comments and postings which are facilitated within the site for interactive information sharing and customer forums.
Modifications
Webcity.lk reserves the right to modify this Agreement from time to time without prior notice. Such modifications will be effective immediately and your continued use of the site will be deemed your conclusive acceptance of the modified terms and conditions.
Gift Delivery and Message Cards
If, when ordering any Product from the site, if you indicate that you are purchasing it as a gift and wish the order to be delivered to the intended recipient, you will have the opportunity to request us to include a message card with the delivery.
We will not be responsible for any wording you include on a message card. We do not routinely check the wording of message cards but reserve the right to refuse to print or send any message card which we think contains any inappropriate wording.
Disclaimers of Warranties & Limitation of Liability
Damages due to any other cause will not be the responsibility of the site. The user is responsible for checking the item for outward damages and accepting as ‘received in good condition’ when goods are delivered.
Webcity.lk will not guarantee to meet customer requirements and expectations in a 100% error- free and accurate manner or to be available at all times. The site cannot also guarantee that the results that the user will get from the use of the site, including any services or products will be effective, reliable, and accurate or meet your specific requirements.
We will not be liable or responsible for any failure to perform, or delay in performance of, any of our site does not warrant that this site; information, content, materials, products (including software) or services included on or otherwise made available to you through this site; their servers; or e-mail sent from the site are free of viruses, or other harmful components. Webcity.lk will not be liable for any damages of any kind arising from the use of this site or from any information, content, materials, products (including software) or services included on or otherwise made available to you through this site, including, but not limited to direct, indirect, incidental, punitive, and consequential damages, unless otherwise specified in writing.
